If Philip Van Munching’s last name is familiar, that’s because his family served as the exclusive importers of Heineken Beer for over 60 years, during which time Heineken was consistently the largest selling imported beer brand in America. Philip served for a decade as the company’s director of advertising, and aided in the launches of the Amstel Light and Buckler Non-Alcoholic brands before leaving to write marketing and advice books for publishers such as Random House, Simon & Schuster, and St. Martin’s Press.  He spent several weeks on the New York Times’ bestseller list with his book for teen girls, Boys Will Put You on a Pedestal (so they can look up your skirt): A Dad’s Advice for Daughters. Philip has appeared on Dr. Phil, Today, GMA, and countless other television programs. He has also consulted for several high-end beverage companies, crafted speeches for well-known television celebrities, writes a weekly advice column, and is currently signed up to compete in a Tough Mudder race at the end of May. It is his fervent hope to survive that race with his knees – and dignity – intact.
